Open Question: damage in the carpark?
my car was damaged by one of the pipe from the ceiling in my apartment car park. I sent details to strata manager. 4month later I was informed that the insurance can not cover this damage and they are not responsible for that. My car was only insured with third party property damage and I was told that it can not be covered either from my car insurance. Does anyone know where I can get legal advice(possiblly free?)from?
Open Question: my Yorkshire Terriers are terrified after attack?
On Sunday my boyfriend was taking my Yorkies out for a walk, we live in a block of flats, he was walking out the entrance door when my neighbours Staffie ran out and attacked both my dogs. The dog ended up grabbing Zoe my little yorkie by the throat and throwing her, she mananged to get out of her lead and ran away onto a main road and nearly got knocked down by a car and my big yorkie Meeko was pinned down and bitten 5 times on the legs and ear. It took 5 mins to get the staffie of my big 1 while this was happening Zoe was running around the full block of my street. My bf and the neighbour finally managed to get the dog off. Zoe ended up worse of and had 3 puncture wounds on her neck and was covered in blood. They were both seen by the vet Meeko only had superficial wounds but Zoe's were deep so she got antibiotics and anti inflammatories in case of infection, which she does now have, but is starting to heal The police were called, but they said there was nothing they could do as it was my only my bf there and my neighbour could turn around and say it wasn't her dog my neighbour said her sister had left the front door open without her realising and that's how the Staffie got out. She was very apologetic and offered to pay half the vet bill (£30) it came to £60 it is better than nothing I suppose although I feel she should be paying all of it. Anyway now my dogs are terrified to go out the front door! The last time I took them out I was locking my front door when one of my other neighbours were coming upstairs and they completely cowered behind my legs shaking, while Meeko started to bark at him while he walked away. They walk right next to me and constantly stare at me, I really need to encourage them to do the toilet else they don't do it. How can I get my dogs to feel safe again? Also Meeko has started peeing on my bed? has this got something to do with the attack? I also forgot to mention the Staffie bit my bf on the hand when he tried to break up the fight he has several teeth marks, the police didn't seem to bat and eyelid at this either!!
Open Question: How would you know the timing for a 1995 ford ranger is off other than the markings?
I own a 1995 ford ranger and it recently broke down on me on my way to work. I bought another car but i cant bring myself to sell it yet. It was making a small rattling almost like a heat shield rattling but it did it right before it broke down on me, and it hasn't started since. I checked the spark plugs, cables and coil to make sure it wasn't that and they were all fine. Then i thought it could be fuel injection/pump problems but i tested my fuel rails pressure (it was fine) and when i checked the plugs to make sure they were sparking fuel was shooting out of the cylinder so i know they injectors are alright. The last things i recently checked was timing (Taking the pully cover off and lining the 2 diamonds up making sure the timing is top-dead center and it is). Im stuck and not sure what to do. I hear the fuel injector when i turn the key, i have a new fuel filter on it, new batterie and alternator, and i know its not a small problem but i need a general direction. I checked all of the relays and fuses and everything checks out. Any suggestions would be greatly appritiated. Thanks :D
